Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24 on the 24th of July, 1992) is a Canadian-born actress. She was the character Felicity in The CW Television Series Arrow. Rickards was raised and born in British Columbia. In her early years, she began her professional career with the musical theater and later dancing. Later, she hoped to get into professional acting. After graduating early from high-school She enrolled in Vancouver Film School and completed the Acting Essentials course. Through the open audition which followed the search for an agent, she was able to find one for her. Alida Vocal Studio is located in Vancouver. Initially signed as a single-episode guest, her rapport with show's co-star Stephen Amell coupled with positive reactions from fans as well as her humorous quips resulted in her first being signed as a co-star on recurring basis for all of the remaining episodes of the season, and then as a regular character during the second season.
